So my fall reading challenge will be to read 200 short stories in the 90 days that make up September, October, and November. I will be updating the blog, creating daily videos(off Sunday), talking about it on twitter, and updating a google document with my progress: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xErecN01txrzDMKhWqLWEPIrqLXZPrutRKka9TIjZQk/edit
If you come to Common Touch of Fantasy for the book reviews on either my blog or Booktube channel, those will still be there. On my channel, they will be under Book Reviews and also with the other daily videos. Here on my blog, you can still click the carousel links when I update the book reviews.
I am looking forward to this adventure with an open mind and an open heart. This is a great way for me to be more exposed to different reading styles and different authors. I think this will help my focus when it comes to reading in general, as my brain will have to refresh itself to understand a new story regularly. This will help me read my large backlog of magazine issues, try new magazines, and get my TBR down that has short stories in them. My priority will be Uncanny, Clarkesworld, and Lightspeed’s newest issues, their back issues, other 2017 magazines/stories/anthologies/collections, and then material from previous years.
If you would like to join me in this endeavor, let me know, and use the hashtag #20shortsin90days. Thanks.
